Mental Health First Aid Training

Practical, accredited skills to recognise and respond to mental health problems, before they become a crisis.

Why This Matters

Mental illness now affects every Australian, either directly or indirectly. 1 in 5 Australians will experience a mental health problem in any given year, and 2 in 5 young adults aged 16-24 will experience one.

Mental Health First Aid training equips your people with the knowledge and confidence to recognise, understand and respond to someone who may need information or support, the same way physical first aid training prepares people to respond to a physical emergency.

Health Problem.

2 in 5 young adults (16-24) will experience a Mental Health Problem.

Mental Health problems impact every Australian either Directly or indirectly.

Two Ways to Train

Public MHFA Courses

Elevare provides standard MHFA training in a face to face environment led by a licensed MHFA Instructor.

Standard MHFA is a 12 hour program completed over 2 days. MHFA provides education for Adults supporting Friends, Family, Colleagues or any other Adult.

Corporate MHFA Course

Private, in-house delivery tailored to your organisational needs, workforce context and operational requirements

Where This Fits

Mental Health First Aid Training helps workplaces build the confidence to recognise, respond and support mental health concerns before they escalate. This is often where organisations begin their journey with Elevare. MHFA becomes the foundational capability before progressing to more leadership focussed programs.
